Son of the South and lifelong restaurateur, Charlie grew up in the restaurant business. His interest in the science and art of winemaking came during studies pursuing his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
The following years spent in hospitality management at some of the country’s best restaurants prepared Charlie well for the positions he’s held at Silver Oak and Twomey Cellars. “My restaurants hosted the luminaries of the California wine industry and each of them had creative, award-winning wine lists. I made the natural transition to the wine industry nearly 15 years ago.”
As the Director of Sales for the Duncan Family, Founders of Silver Oak and Twomey, Charlie’s travels encompass the USA and International markets where he enjoys connecting with the brand’s customers. He brings the spirit of hospitality to every interaction and is energized by new opportunities with his team.
