2. Spring Mountain Experience with Schweiger Vineyards

When Schweiger Vineyards first started in 1984, it was to fulfill Fred and Sally Schweiger’s dream of growing grapes on property they had owned in Napa County for over 20 years. Back then, there was no Spring Mountain District and very few vineyards were established in the region. By 1994, Spring Mountain had become one of Napa’s top spots to source Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux-style grapes. That year, Fred and Sally tapped their son, Andy, to begin making small amounts of wine from their estate. While the original focus was Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Andy wanted to add diversity to the Schweiger wine portfolio, planting Cabernet Franc and Malbec, and giving birth to their Bordeaux-style blend, Dedication®. The Schweiger family has put together a captivating Spring Mountain experience complete with an impressive selection of cellar-enhancing wine for two lucky couples. 

While in Napa, stay at the picturesque Carneros Resort and Spa in a beautiful 2,500 square-foot, two-bedroom cottage with stylish, modern touches featuring cherry wood floors, fireplaces, and a large rooftop sun deck that’s perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine at the end of each evening. Both bedrooms are designed as master suites with ensuite bathrooms. 

The successful winner of this lot will first spend a day in the vineyard and winery with Fred and Andy Schweiger experiencing their love for their land and what they’ve built followed by a barrel tasting and lunch.

To commemorate your time in Napa, take home a once in a lifetime eight-year vertical of Schweiger Vineyards Dedication including one magnum and two 750 mL bottles of each vintage from 2011 to their current 2016 release.
