Three couples are invited to experience the spirit of the Paso Robles wine community as they spend three nights in a luxury home located in Paso’s Willow Creek District. This immersive wine experience has been carefully curated by Paso’s infamous French winemaking family and the owners of Clos Soléne, Benom, and L’Aventure fondly referred to as the French Mafia.

 

Relax and enjoy the intricate flavors found in each uniquely expressed glass of wine, because every detail has been taken care of for you, including daily luxury transportation to and from each winery on your itinerary. Begin your Paso tasting experience at Clos Soléne where owner and winemaker, Guillaume Fabre, will host you for “A Taste of the Terroir” where he’ll pour your wine straight from the barrel as he leads you on a Polaris tour of the estate vineyard showcasing its most premium blocks to allow you to truly experience farm-to-glass. Depart Clos Solène and travel to the neighboring winery of Booker Vineyards, where you’ll enjoy a tour of their caves, tasting on the terrace, and catered lunch. Spend your afternoon with Arnaud Fabre for a tasting of Benom wines created with his brother and co-owner Guillaume. For the Fabre brothers, who hail from six generations of French winemakers, coming to Paso was as much about wine as it was about love. Arnaud will lead you through a comparative tasting of current and library wines with some additional pours coming from his import company Procure Wines. End your evening with dinner with at Les Petites Canailles, prepared by Chef, Owner, and the culinary arm of the French Mafia, Julien Asseo. With multiple awards from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast they were also mentioned in the Michelin Guide this past year. Chef Julien and his wife Courtney are not just raising the bar, but setting the standard, for hospitality and culinary achievement on the Central Coast.

 

Your second day begins with champagne in the L’Aventure vineyard before enjoying a special tasting in Stephan Asseo’s private library within the L’Aventure caves. Hear the story of how this maverick winemaker from Bordeaux brought his family to Paso Robles while you taste a flight of wines from both current and past vintages. Then travel to Tin City for tasting experiences with winemakers Riley Hubbard of Hubba Wines and Valia From of Desparada Winery. Enjoy lunch with both winemakers and Maggie Tillman of Alta Colina and learn how Stephan’s influence shaped the wines they each make today.

 

Vacations are better when there's a little mystery. There is one more element of the day that won’t be revealed to you until the day of. Afterall, Paso is known for its adventurous spirit! Wind down on your final evening with dinner hosted in your home by Connor McMahon of of Fulldraw, Juan Mercado of Riise, and Stanley Barrios of TOP. Rising stars of the Paso wine scene, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy their wines while having a private dinner curated by chef Justin Kingsley Hall. Chef Justin recently returned to his roots on the Central Coast after building a fantastic reputation in the Las Vegas culinary community and is now pairing his open-fire cooking with the bold Paso blends from our communities' best winemakers.
