Britta Gentle is the Senior Director of Sales for the Americas for Domaine Serene Vineyards and Winery. She works closely with national and international distributors to supply the extraordinary wines produced both in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and in Burgundy, France. Although she was born and raised on the Central Coast of California, she went to university in Rhode Island where she studied hospitality, culinary, and restaurant management.
Embracing the philosophy that wine is an extension of the culinary experience, she was drawn to the wine industry. For more than 20 years she has studied the history, geography, and winemaking techniques of the world’s major wine making regions. Additionally, she has traveled to many of them in person to explore, understand, and immerse herself in their unique terroirs. Her passion led her to Domaine Serene because of the excellent quality of the wines and their relentless dedication to making the world’s finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Living and working in the Willamette Valley has provided her with a unique perspective on Oregon and how Domaine Serene’s wines imbue a very distinct sense of place to all who enjoy them.
