Deer hunting enthusiasts will be treated to a four-day hunt in the heart of the Blackbelt at Beaver Dam Lodge, located just outside of Macon, MS approximately one hour northwest of Tuscaloosa, AL. This 2,000-acre private hunting lodge has a wide variety of terrain including bluffs, streams, and a 27-acre lake filled with record small mouth bass. This secluded property may not be easily reached for the average hunter, but we have you taken care of. Board your private Premier I Light Jet and take off for four days of rustic luxury.
Your accommodations are a spectacular four-bedroom log cabin overlooking the property’s picturesque lake with small cabins dappling its bank. Spend your downtime at the camp house enjoying cocktails while listening to stories told by your host, Brian Pearson. The libations will be flowing at the lodge, with a fully stocked bar and a selection of excellent wine provided by your host.
Arrive at the lodge just after lunch, drop your bags, and head straight out for your first hunt. Led by one of the lodge’s many skilled guides, travel to your desired blind and try to find a trophy for your wall. While at Beaver Dam Lodge, each day of hunting may be customized to your preferences. Stay out all day or return midday for lunch before trying a new location on the property in the afternoon.
All your southern-style meals will be prepared by Birdie who has been cooking at the lodge for nearly 20 years. She’ll provide a light breakfast each morning, along with a hearty lunch and dinner to keep you fueled for four days of hunting. Enjoy one more hunt on the morning of your departure before returning to civilization.
