16 Years for 16 Charities

The premier fundraising event of the season is back for its 16th installment April 23-24, 2021.

Keeping the safety of our participants a top priority, DCWAF has chosen a modified format for the 16th Annual Auction that revives some of the weekend’s most popular activities while maintaining virtual bidding that was shown successful during 2020’s auction. 2021’s auction will see the return of patron dinners, with nine intimate wine dinners slated across the Emerald Coast in private homes and popular restaurants. Some of the star wineries we’ll have for patron dinners include Booker, Dakota Shy and VGS which we’re so excited to pair with chefs like Jack McGukin, Dan Vargo, and Alex McPhail.

The large auction tent that has previously brought over 600 wine enthusiasts together for a live auction celebration will remain virtual for one more year, allowing guests the option of attending one of several DCWAF watch parties or enjoying the broadcast from the comfort of their home. Mobile bidding through Greater Giving will be live during the auction, giving you the chance to bid for your favorite travel trips, private dinners, and of course, wines!

Guests will have the option of registering for seats at both a patron dinner and watch party or just a patron dinner based on their comfort level with group settings. For those that would prefer not to gather, a fully virtual auction at home experience will also be available for purchase. Packages including in-person events are extremely limited and can be purchased at dcwaf.org/tickets beginning January 25.

DCWAF strives to raise the bar with this 2021 Virtual Auction to surpass last year’s donation of $1.2 million and we encourage all of our supporters to bid high and bid often in our 2021 Destin Charity Wine Auction!
