Our Local Celebrity Chef Pairs Up With Jackson Family Wines for the 11th Annual Auction

Hello, Wine Lovers!


If you have not signed up for your 2016 Patron Dinner yet, not to fret! This week we are diving into the perfectly paired cuisine by Chef Tim Creehan with the wine portfolio of Jackson Family Wines. This dinner will be held at Cuvee Bistro in Destin on April 29th and will be one of 14 patron dinners during the auction weekend. 


Chef Tim Creehan is the proprietor of Cuvee Bistro and Cuvee Catering in Destin, and Grill Plus™, an instant marinade he created and patented in 1997. Dubbed Destin’s celebrity chef, Creehan’s stellar reputation of culinary excellence has landed him incalculable awards, television and radio appearances, and an array of prolific clientele, including Bruce Willis, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Rachel Hunter, and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. He served as special guest Chef de Cuisine at the Sundance Film Festival, where he fed flocks of the famous at the Entertainment Tonight/Getty Images/Gibson Guitar Lodge, including Matthew Broderick, Danny Glover, Alan Rickman, Rachel Taylor, John Legend, and more.


Cuvee Bistro consistently garners multiple awards annually, including Florida Trend’s Golden Spoon, Best of the Emerald Coast, Best in Destin, Opentable.com Diner’s Choice, Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence, Finest on the Emerald Coast, and 2013’s newly christened Emerald Fork award. Cuvee also holds the unique distinction of winning Destin’s only Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for both 2011 and 2012. 


A perfectly well-balanced dinner, we believe always involves great wine. This is where the large portfolio of Jackson Family Wines comes in! With delectable wines for the dinner and a coveted auction lot from Cardinale, the weekend will be filled with delicious wines, educational exeriences, and culture. Jackson Family Wines has vineyard locations in California, Oregon, Australia, Chile, France, Italy, and South Africa. Needless to say, they are known for their quality wines on vast terrain. DCWAF is honored to have Trey Christy, CMS, Advanced Sommelier and Regional Manager of Jackson Family Wines' Spire Collection a part of our foundation. Several years ago, Trey was recruited to work with the Spire Collection, of Jackson Family Wines, and today is proud to represent a portfolio of very rare, estate grown French, Italian and Californian fine wines.
