Pride Mountain Vineyards

Pride Mountain Vineyards is uniquely situated atop the Mayacamas Mountains with the Napa/Sonoma County line running through the property at elevations up to 2,200 feet.  Located at the site of historic Summit Ranch, where the first wine grapes were planted in 1869 above the town of St. Helena on the Napa side and Santa Rosa on the Sonoma side, this beautiful setting includes wine caves dug deep into the mountains and the haunting ruins of the old stone Summit Winery dating to 1890.

Second-generation co-owner Suzanne Pride Bryan and her husband, Stuart Bryan, Pride’s Director of National Sales, work with Suzanne’s brother Steve Pride, co-owner and CEO to carry-on the tradition of intense, extracted mountain grown wines.  Pride Mountain Vineyards is known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Viognier and their unique dessert wine Mistelle de Viognier.

Celebrating over two decades of outstanding vintages since its founding in 1990 by Jim and Carolyn Pride, Pride Mountain Vineyards has been named one of the “world’s greatest wine estates” by Robert Parker, Jr. joining just 156 other wineries from around the world for this distinction.  The Wine Spectator has recognized Pride’s wines on their Top100 Wines of the World list six times, and the wines have been served at the White House 27 times during the last four Administrations.

Stuart and Suzanne travel extensively for the winery representing Pride Mountain Vineyards at wine auctions and other charitable events, conducting wine maker dinners and trade tastings. They have two grown daughters and live in Sonoma County.
