High Society Sailing: Tahiti & the Society Islands

tahiti1

This is the trip you’ve been dreaming of your entire life. Spend seven nights aboard m/s Paul Gauguin discovering the wonders of Tahiti and the Society Islands. Designed specifically to glide through the shallow seas of the South Pacific, The Gauguin is the flagship of Paul Gauguin Cruises and a small-ship cruiser’s dream. She delivers travelers to intimate ports inaccessible to larger cruise ships, all while providing an onboard experience that is nothing short of luxurious.

Known as “The Garden Island” your first stop is to Huahine’s lush rainforests and dramatic terrain which surround sacred sites and legendary landmarks.

Your journey continues to Taha’s, where you’ll spend your day relaxing on the private islet of Motu Mahana. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing with a chilled beverage from the island’s floating bar, all while enjoying a relaxed barbeque picnic lunch.

Make your way from Motu Mahana to a bucket list destination for many world travelers. Stunning Bora Bora welcomes you for a full two days of exploration. Discover lush peaks, white-sand beaches, colorful coral reefs, and romantic lagoons. Shore excursions abound from relaxing on your own private beach to a helicopter tour that flies you over Bora Bora’s iconic Mount Otemanu. The most famous of French Polynesia’s Leeward Islands and recently awarded the title of “the best island in the world” by U.S. News, Bora Bora invites you to immerse yourself in a tropical paradise.

Overwhelm your senses during two leisurely days in Moorea. Vibrant colors can be found in everything from fresh fruits and flowers, to multi-hued lagoons and spectacular mountain peaks.

Tahiti’s capital city of Papeete welcomes you back on your final day with emerald hillsides, sapphire waters, and warm breezes.

Bon voyage!
