Chef and owner Sam Efron has developed Taverna San Marco under that description. Highly awarded in the culinary scene and with local publications, Taverna is a restaurant that tows the line between a neighborhood casual hang out with the ability to be a special occasion destination as well. Sam, with his wife Kiley who serves as the wine director, opened Taverna with the intent to provide a restaurant experience that could bring diners back every night of the week. Taverna’s menu paints a beautiful picture of familial Italian with its appetizers of olives and cheeses, to entrees of pizzas, pastas, and seafood complemented by local produce.
