Wine Down at WaterColor: Harvest Wine & Food Festival

You may know Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation for our multi-million dollar fundraising auction in April, from our #3 ranking in Wine Spectator Magazine for “Top Charity Wine Auctions in the US,” or from one of the local children’s charities we raise funds to help support. You may know us from our generous supporters, or from the delectable wine pairings facilitated at dinners we host. We are committed to bringing you new and exciting experiences, and at the end of the day, everything we do is with one mission in mind, to raise funds for our 15 charity partners in Northwest Florida.

We are excited to bring you a new, in-demand event that allows us to continue to fundraise doing what we do best. From November 2nd through the 5th, Harvest Wine and Food Festival will feature some of the world’s premier vintners, proprietors, and award-winning chefs. We are bringing our passion for our community, our event expertise, and our love for wine and food to one of our beloved beach towns, WaterColor.

We truly believe this is the perfect venue for Harvest. Located on Scenic 30a, WaterColor “is a beach town with refined tastes.” Bordering the crystal clear Gulf of Mexico and Western Lake, WaterColor preserves and celebrates the natural beauty of the area with walking trails, bridges, gardens and more. Stunning architecture complements its surroundings. With boutique shops, quaint neighborhoods, and local restaurants, a location with “refined tastes,” certainly welcomes those with defined palates as well.

This four-day event will allow visitors and locals alike to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine while strolling through the beautiful beach town of WaterColor.

With plenty of opportunities for foodies and wine enthusiasts to enjoy a long weekend getaway in one of the most beautiful places in the world (Disclaimer: we are slightly biased), you will not want to miss it.

Festivities will begin with wine dinners along 30a on Thursday evening. The events will continue with a rare tasting of library wines on Friday evening, leading up to the main event on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm. This Grand Tasting will include an array of culinary stations, including seafood, barbeque and more from celebrity chefs and your favorite local restaurants. There will be over 150 wines to taste from all over the world. For those who savor craft beer and spirits, we have selections for you as well. And because auctions are part of who we are, a silent auction will open on Friday and run through Sunday at noon.

From Cabernet to Chardonnay, there will be a variety of vintages and varietals to sip and swirl. Vintners and winery representatives will be in attendance to taste you through their own selections. You will not want to miss it. Weekend passes are available or individual event tickets. A retail tent will be open all weekend and will allow you to take your favorite wines home with you. Lodging is available for a long trip or if you are an Emerald Coast local in need of a staycation.
