Sweet Tooth?

Seeing Red 201444

November 7th will be here before we know it, and Seaside will be filled with reds, whites, and rosé. In addition to the wide array of wines from around the world and coastal cuisine from local restaurants,  we have a few other sweet treats for you.

I don’t know about you, but I am still dreaming about the Bourbon Brittle and I am still craving the Muzzle Loaders that I tried last November at the 24th annual Seaside Seeing Red Wine Festival! Well, good news folks. Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. is returning and Scott Witherow, owner and maker of these delectable treats, is bringing Seersucker Candy Co. with him, so get ready for mouthwatering, hand crafted southern style artisan chocolate creations. What goes better with wine than chocolate? Scott and his team are native Nashvillians who make small, batch, hand crafted, slow roasted, stone ground robust flavored southern artisan chocolate. The bean-to-bar chocolate makers combine their traditional methods with modern European techniques and classic Southern flavors. The Garden & Gun “Made in the South” Award winner, everything they is southern by nature and the like to believe that Olive & Sinclair is Tennessee’s 1st & only bean-to bar chocolate company.

New to the Seeing Red Wine Festival, and another sweet treat with eye-catching and beautiful packaging is Wondermade. These homemade cane sugar marshmallows are available in a variety of desirable flavors, including the very appropriate booze collection. Beer, bourbon, fireball, gin, and champagne flavored marshmallows are bound to win your hearts. They also have honey, lavender, blackberry, key lime pie, and more. Wondermade began when founder Nathan Clark wanted to give his loved one Jenn a special Christmas gift and decided to attempt to make his own marshmallows. Since then Nathan and Jenn have been whipping up original flavors for all of their friends and for the historic town of Sanford, just north of Orlando. Love and Marshmallows has been their motto from the start.

We think you will fall in love with these sweet treats in addition to the highly anticipated lineup of wines and local restaurants. We will see you in November!
